About

An operations business, not an agency

We recruit, train and manage teams for companies hiring overseas, and we are measured on whether they still work well a year in — not on how fast a seat was filled.

The name

Gro + Nār

Two parts, describing what we expect from people rather than what we sell.

Gro comes from growth — the expectation that every person and every team becomes more through constant improvement.

Nari is coined from Nār (نار), the Arabic word for fire: energy and drive, the kind that refines rather than destroys. The Nari are the people who bring it.

Together: those who grow with fire, and never stop becoming more. It is pronounced Groh-NAR-ee — three syllables that sit naturally in English, Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa alike.

People do not stay in a job that goes nowhere. An identity worth belonging to is the most reliable retention tool we have.

The mark

Why the logo turns

The circular swirl stands for continuous growth and shared momentum — the fire within.

The rotating blades are a collective in motion: people growing together, feeding one another’s drive, and building something larger than any one of them. The green is growth, trust and rooted strength. The ember orange is the fire — purpose, energy and ambition.

What we hold to

The six standards behind every hire

The terms we recruit against, train against and manage against — and hold ourselves to.

Growth
We improve constantly — in skill, in character, in performance. Standing still is not an option.
Fiery
We work with visible drive. Our commitment is felt by the people around us, not just stated.
Collective
The fire of one feeds the next. People who are further along train the people behind them.
Exclusive
Being one of the Nari is earned through growth and commitment. We hold the standard rather than lower it.
Loyal
We stay committed — to the work, to the team, and to the people who chose to build something here.
Proud
We represent our work and our country with excellence, and we protect that standard every day.

Where we operate

Rooted in one place, on purpose

We work from one place and nowhere else. That is a decision, not a limitation.

English is the working language, so there is no language gap to manage. West Africa Time sits one hour ahead of the UK, which gives a full working-day overlap with Europe and a usable morning overlap with the US East Coast.

Culture, standards and progression are built in person, by people who see each other. That is hard to do across several countries at once, so we do not pretend to.

How we work

Built around the team, not the placement

An agency is paid when someone signs. We are paid to keep a team working, which changes every decision we make.

We would rather restart a search than push through a candidate who is close enough. Training is planned before the person arrives, not improvised afterwards. And someone here is accountable for your team by name, so problems reach you with a proposal instead of a surprise.
